Adventure Brief:
Mount Kailash, the holiest of all the holy mountains, the spiritual junction for both the Hindus and Buddhists, is situated in the western part of Tibet . The pilgrimage tour to Mt. Kailash and Lake Mansarovar is a journey into a remote and secluded land where one seems to leave behind one's material attachments as they travel towards the holy lake. On this Kailash Mansarovar pilgrimage tours and treks, we take scenic drive onto the lush vegetation of conifer, rhododendron and oak trees via the semi deserted windswept landscape to the highest plateau in the world. You can see the numbers of isolated villages, nomads' tents with flocks of sheep, domesticated mountain goats and yaks grazing at the vast field. Lake Mansarovar, an expanse of sparkling blue water sprawling over several miles, believed to be the seat of Brahma (the Creator of Universe) and the snow capped Mount Kailash is considered as the abode of Lord Shiva and his consort Parvati. The entire Kailash circuit trek is the holiest of all the Hindu's and Buddhist pilgrimages.
General information about Kailash tour and Itenary : -
Day 01: Arrival at Kathmandu transfer to Hotel.
Day 02: Half day Sight Seeing in Kathmandu including Pashupatinath and Bhudhanikantha.
Day 03: Drive Kathmandu -Kodari - Nyalam (137 Km ) At Kodari After immigration and customs formalities on both sides (Kodari and Zangmu) we drive to the small town - Nyalam (3700m).
Day 04: Rest day for altitude acclimatization at Nyalam.
Day 05 : After breakfast Drive to Saga250kms(-4500m) Enjoy grand view of Mt. Shishapangma (8021mt High) Gauri Shankar and other high mountains from Thukla Pass (5050mt.high) another attraction will be a sacred lake Pigusto , Overnight lodge in Saga.
Day 06: After breakfast Drive to Prayang 225km (4500m). O /N Lodge.
Day 07: Prayang - Lake Manasarovar at 4500m., very auspicious day for all yatries who will have first glimpse of Holy Manas and Darshan (wiew) of Mt. Kailash from Horrchu Pass. Overnight stay Camp/Lodge at the shore of lake Mansarovar .
Day 08: The abode of god will be a lifetime - achievement. Puja, Havana worship, meditation, holly bath and Tarpan etc. Full day relax.
Day 09: Drive to Darchen (30km) 4560m. over night Guest house. Afternoon Asthaparbat darshan.
Day 10: Darchen to Diraphuk 18km. Parikarma/Kora begins drive 10 km. cover to Tarboche and trek up to walk approximately about 04 / 05 hour Diraphuk (4890m). overnight stay at Camping/Guest house.
Day 11: Trek to Zuthulphuk (4790m) 22km. walk approximately 08 / 10 hours - Parikarma continues, this is the day every pilgrims talks about, the most difficult journey through out the Yatra, Trek up to Dolma La pass(5600m) We will offer very short prayers at Dolmala and move towards Gaurikunda. They programmed in the same as usual, Zuthulphuk over night stay at camping / Guest house.
Day 12: Zuthulphuk to Manasoravar Horchu. After Breakfast, we will trek around 8 km. We will be reaching at the point, where our jeeps will be waiting to drive us to Darchen, Parikarma ends. After Lunch we will drive to Manasoravar Horchu O /N Guest house.
Day 13: Drive back to Dongpa, we return the same route we have traveled and same procedure will be followed for meals and accommodation as before.
Day 14: Drive back to Nylam.
Day 15: Nyalam to Katmandu .
Day 16: Kathmandu , Overnight in Hotel.
Day 17: Departure transfer to Onward Destination.
